What You Will Get To Do:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Real Assets and Private Equity team. This role involves supporting client relationships preparing and reviewing financial statements investor allocations capital calls and distributions and distribution waterfall models as well as assisting with audits and tax compliance. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge experience with alternative investment funds and the ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused team.

  • Contribute to a team managing one or more client relationships.
  • Deliver accurate and timely work in line with deliverable timelines coordinating with the Manager and other team members.
  • Review and prepare transaction documentation and supporting files understanding investment transaction features and accruals.
  • Perform bank reconciliations process journal entries and prepare supporting financial schedules.
  • Handle routine client information requests.
  • Review and prepare work paper files for accuracy and completeness including capital activity investment activity income and expense accruals and valuation adjustments.
  • Review and prepare management fee calculations and supporting schedules investor allocations and capital account statements.
  • Review and prepare capital call and distribution calculations sources/uses of cash allocations and investor notices.
  • Update distribution waterfall (carried interest) models in accordance with fund terms.
  • Prepare financial statements note disclosures and supporting schedules.
  • Support the year-end audit process in collaboration with the team clients and auditors.
  • Support the tax team where applicable by providing information for tax compliance and reporting.
  • Contribute to corporate goals and broader business or departmental initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience with Real Asset funds or Real Asset structures is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is essential; additional expertise in tools such as Power Query Power BI Macros and VBA is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated interest and capability in data preparation and automation tools including Power Query and VBA with the ability to work effectively across various software applications.
