DescriptionIf you are a dynamic strategic problem solver we are currently seeking a Product Manager II here in our Stafford Texas location. You will be task with the achievement of company growth and profit goals through assessment of market needs and subsequent development of product plans specifications economic analysis and develop overall worldwide marketing strategy for assigned products!
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Lead all aspects of key product parameters such as pricing capabilities and improvements throughout the products lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring: Track global sales bookings and profitability; recommend and implement corrective actions through regional functional teams.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research including segmentation competitive share and feature differentiation.
- Product Promotion Tools: Develop and distribute tools like application guides and competitive comparisons to support product marketing.
- Support for Development & Operations: Assist in new product planning launch and technical documentation; forecast manufacturing needs analyze costs and recommend sourcing strategies.
Who You Are:
For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (MEor ChE): Engineering background
8 years engineering experience in engineering sales or marketing:
Require understanding in process control business strong knowledge of marketplace competitive product customers and applications.
Position requires strong presentation writing and analytical abilities. The product manager will be required to develop and present the commercial technical and manufacturing aspects of major programs.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Advanced Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Business preferred:Marketing / sales background used to evaluate market trends industry projections and conduct market analysis.
