As we continue our rapid growth we are evolving our go-to-market strategy to include a robust 2-tier distribution model in the United States.
Promethean is seeking a Distribution Account Manager to lead and expand strategic business initiatives with our North American distribution partners and shape how our products reach the market.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic alignment and execution with top-tier distribution partners.
- Deliver measurable results through effective management of channel partners and increasing Prometheans market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners resellers and applicable strategic alliance partners.
- Work with the distributor partner to identify and target new indirect partners that are aligned with Prometheans growth strategy to expand market share and increase revenue.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and performance tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales marketing operations and finance to ensure partner success and executive on goals.
- Manage distribution inventory levels to ensure the right product mix is in their warehouse(s) based on pipeline.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to address and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise between channel partners.
- Streamline processes reduce friction and improve partner performance metrics.
- Manage contracts and agreements with channel partners initiate negotiations when required ensuring favorable terms and conditions and providing information to leaders and legal for final review and approval
- Stay informed about market trends competitive activities and partner needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and deliver training programs for channel partners to enhance their product knowledge of the entire suite of Promethean products and solutions.
Requirements:
- 10 years of distribution channel management experience in the technology industry.
- Proven success in managing large-scale distribution relationships in the hardware and software space.
- Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Deep understanding of 2-tier distribution models and channel dynamics.
- Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to help develop and execute channel strategies that achieve business goals.
- Thrives in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Experience with Salesforce partner portals and performance dashboards.
- Understanding of the AV/UC/IT technology space and Prometheans products and solutions offering.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 50-75% travel
- Remote work preferably located in South Carolina.
Base Range: $107300 - $147500 Commission Eligible
For business reasons Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco San Jose or Oakland.
