Job Summary
Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a growing services business near Downers Grove IL searching for a Bookkeeper.
This role will start as a contract role with potential to be hired on a full-time permanent basis!
Also this role will start as on-site in Downers Grove with potential to move to a 50/50 hybrid schedule after a few months.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Completing journal entries into QuickBooks Online
- Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Preparing Payroll to be run by an outsourced payroll firm
- Financial statement preparation
- Helping with in-office activities and special projects (ordering supplies research on ways to save money other business needs that come up)
- Setting up ACH information
- Bank accounts details and reconciliations
Candidate should have the following experience:
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience for companies under $50 million in revenue
- 2 years of experience preparing financials using QuickBooks Online required
- Can do attitude to help with special projects as needed for the business
- Drive to help lower costs for the business by doing research on other areas (i.e. lowering shipping costs acquisition costs etc.)
- Energetic background and want to have fun at work
- Strong Microsoft Office background Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint etc.
