Job Summary

Job Overview
The Saudi Development & Export Services Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Ad Dammam Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position. The Safety Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. They will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures conducting risk assessments and providing safety training.

Responsibilities
* Develop implement and maintain health and safety policies procedures and systems in compliance with local regulations and international best practices.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
* Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
* Deliver safety training and awareness programmes to employees and contractors.
* Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of safety inspections training incidents and near misses.
* Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.

Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Safety Officer preferably in a similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication interpersonal and training skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.
* Experience working in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
