Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a technical field (not required but a plus)
- 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer in a Lean manufacturing environment or Level III Quality Inspection with knowledge of GD&T
- Injection Molding experience is a plus
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) is a plus
- Have experience with ISO & TS16949
- Strong skill level in engineering principles (design of experiments statistical data analysis tolerance analysis human factor engineering FMEA/FTA reliability validation development and execution of protocols/reports
- Use all basic precision mechanical measurement equipment including FARO Arm calipers micrometers comparators bore gages etc.
- Strong computer literacy skills with working knowledge of word processing spreadsheet project management and manufacturing software
- Must possess good communication skills written and verbal and must be able to interact with customers and employees
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include: close vision distance vision color acuity peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 25 pounds
- Documentation and record keeping skills.
