Job Description
Job Title: Sr SAP Project Manager
Location: Hoffman Estates IL 60169
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Arrangement: hybrid 2-3 is preferred but will consider fully remote for the right candidate
Travel: must be willing to travel around the USA for client meetings as needed
Salary Range: Min $130000; Max $165000/year (Actual compensation will be based on experience geographic location and skill set.)
Bonus: Incentive compensation opportunities and other forms of discretionary annual bonus are available
Reports to: Sr Program Manager with dotted line to the Director of Solutions Delivery for the USA
Interview Process: 2 video Teams interviews followed by an in-person interview.
Job Overview
As a Senior SAP Project Manager Solution Delivery you will lead large complex projects/programs with budgets ranging from $2M to $5M managing multiple complex engagements across multiple customers. Your primary responsibility is to build and maintain client relationships and to deliver the assigned projects successfully. As a Sr SAP Project Manager you will provide thought leadership across all technical and business process aspects for the engagements you manage in specific complex Rights and Royalty industries.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Manage multiple clients /complex projects at any given time.
- Assist in pre-sales activities and expand the companys consulting services.
- Assist with scoping and estimating project work.
- Identify and close new service opportunities for your assigned clients.
- Identify the appropriate consulting skills required for the projects.
- On-site Lead for implementation project(s).
- Experience managing SOW / Contract requirements and related change requests (CR) for fixed-priced engagements
- Adhere to all documented PMO processes and procedures (DM Manual and related documentation).
- Lead the effort to define deliverables templates and standards for the project.
- Develop and manage a detailed integrated project plan including project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify track and report project performance metrics to the client.
- Manage project issues/risks scope budgets and client expectations.
- First point of escalation for project-related issues.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders.
- Monitor budget-to-actual project expenditures headcount and deliverable completion.
- Manage and maintain project financials (resources schedule and budget).
- Subject matter expert in SAP methodologies and implementation best practices.
- Mentoring project managers and delivery managers as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field.
- 10 years of SAP experience managing complex and fixed-priced projects.
- Min 10 years of Supervisory or people management experience within large complex projects.
- SAP Order to Cash & Finance area expertise.
- Experience in multiple SAP full lifecycle software implementations.
- Expertise with SAP Waterfall and Agile methodologies and related tools and templates
- Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Preferred
- Experience in the Music and/or Licensing Rights and Royalties industry
- Knowledge of Vistex software a plus.
