JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Manassas VA
PAY RATE: Up to $25/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Inspect mechanical and electrical hardware to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Determine hardware acceptance and complete nonconformance reports inspection tags and related documentation

• Perform physical tasks including standing walking sitting light lifting and bending

• Interface with customer representatives (Navy On-Site Team and/or DCMA) during product sell-off and acceptance

• Support process compliance throughout production as part of the Product Quality Team to ensure delivery of conforming hardware

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and complex wiring diagrams

• 1 2 years of hands-on inspection experience or 3 5 years of experience building/assembling mechanical and/or electrical products

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (not required to start)

• Proficiency with Solumina and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills

• IPC-610 IPC-620 or J-STD-001 certification

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience presenting products for customer inspection

• Background in production or assembly environments working closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
