Job Summary

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that all subordinate team members achieve their Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Track the achievements of subordinates on a daily weekly and monthly basis providing guidance and corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead the establishment of new outlets within the designated territory including planning and execution.
  • Implement strategies to control Accounts Receivable (AR) within the territory.
  • Work in accordance with the Monthly Work Plan to ensure the efficient operation of the sales team.
  • Ensure comprehensive daily coverage of all assigned routes to maximize market penetration.
  • Coordinate and maintain clear communication with the Warehouse to ensure timely and accurate stock availability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to orders ensuring their prompt resolution.
  • Provide routing assistance and file maintenance support for the sales team.
  • Ensure that selling tools and point-of-purchase materials are readily available for agents or depots.
  • Coordinate the completion of identified resets special events and equipment deliveries.
  • Monitor the attendance leave and sick days of subordinate team members ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Coach and mentor existing and newly joined team members to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Work towards and strive to attain monthly and quarterly targets in terms of cases and revenue for the designated territory.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 1 - 2 years working experience in sales managing wholesaler preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods company.
  • Strong analytical ability with negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and oral.
  • Computer literate Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Possess own transport.
