Postion: Design Engineer
Job Description
Mechanical or Automobile design engineer who has Minimum 2 years of experience with SOLIDWORKS & AutoCAD software.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Make simple and advanced 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD & Solid works from general written or verbal specifications.
- lead role in coordinating & performing the necessary drafting responsibilities for the projects assigned.
- Work closely with team members and clients to complete the design & documentation of products and releasing this information to clients.
- Coordinate with clients to understand the queue and deliver as per schedule.
- Prepare Bill of Materials and documentation required for procurement.
- Value engineering.
- Establish proper tracking of projects.
- Create and update database of design records for future reference purposes.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed as per quality requirements.
- Perform other design duties as required.
Educational Requirements
BE in mechanical or Automobile engineering with minimum 2 years of experience
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SOLIDWORKS & AutoCAD
- Design experience 2 to 4 years
- GD&T knowledge
- Strong drawing and detailing capabilities
- Proficient in MS-Office
- Good communication skills
