As a Warehouse Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for assisting with the receiving storing and distributing of goods and products as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and inspect incoming goods ensuring they meet quality standards - Prepare and pack orders for shipment ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Organize and maintain inventory levels conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods - Keep the warehouse clean organized and safe at all times - Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks - Follow all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred - Forklift certification is a plus - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed At Venture Resources we value our employees and provide a supportive and inclusive work environment.
