Job Description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join their team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Negotiable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receive store and issue explosives magazines and other materials in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Raise and process requisitions for required materials.
  • Assist in conducting periodic and annual stock takes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
  • Coordinate site activities related to material and explosives handling.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety security and environmental procedures.

Key Skills:

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of explosives handling and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Blasting License.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the mining industry or a related field.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and inventory management systems).
  • Proven experience with inventory management processes.
