Policy & Legislation Officer
About the opportunity
The Policy & Legislative Services Officer provides specialist administrative technical business unit support and service to the Legislation Policy and Information (LPIS) Division of WorkSafe to maintain quality outcomes and to enable the Divisions efficient functioning.
This involves supporting assisting and coordinating work across a wide portfolio of projects and programs and is designed to enable key learning and development opportunities within the team and LPIS Division.
This may involve but is not limited to supporting the Manager and team members by helping them with the development of policy and or regulatory responses assisting with research and advice coordinating confidential materials supporting meeting requirements working towards crucial deadlines and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships as well as consistently applying quality customer-services principles throughout. About you
You will have demonstrated experience in high level administration with strong coordination and planning skills. You will have a proven ability to use initiative and be able to meet tight deadlines often with competing priorities. Your communication and organisational skills are exceptional.
