JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Clinical Account Executive (SrCAE) position is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who is looking to leverage their pharmacy and healthcare expertise to meet the Employer Coalition clients strategic goals and drive improved clinical and financial outcomes for their this role the SrCAE will use their deep understanding of the pharmacy/healthcare landscape and pipeline as well as strong clinical analytical financial and business skills to develop and present a comprehensive strategy aligning and supporting to the clients strategic goals. The strategic plan should address critical business metrics such as member and client satisfaction clinical support and clinical solution program adoption with a goal to deliver lower healthcare costs and optimal clinical outcomes. The SrCAE independently manages a book of highly complex clients requiring this role to think forward into the future as the healthcare landscape continues to evolve be comfortable with a wide variety of data elements have an ability to draw insights from that data while being member-centric and promoting an optimal patient experience. They must serve as the clients gold-standard clinical resource and be knowledgeable of new clinical innovations that are occurring beyond medications including digital health innovations and new healthcare delivery models. They will partner with Population Health Managers where client has in place to provide a comprehensive management plan. Responsible for providing comprehensive management of clinical strategies initiatives and new clinical solution adoption in order to meet the clients and ESIs common goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads (and partners with Account Executive) the adoption of clinical solutions to clients through consultative sales methods (e.g. quarterly/annual business reviews presentation of modeling/reporting etc.) in accordance with client business goals and upon collaboration and coordination with account management & internal team members.
  • Leads the development preparation and presentation of healthcare strategy for each client assigned. Acts in concert with assigned Account Executive Population Health Manager and Account Manager to service the health management consultative needs of the client.
  • Conducts clinical client Strategic Planning and Review Consultation (SPARC) meetings. Responsible for retention client loyalty and maximizing solution sales opportunities within assigned portfolio. Maintains strong client relationships with clients to ensureretention/satisfaction/upselltargets are met.
  • Actively participates/contributes across multiple custom clinical projects to enable both clients strategic goals as well as organization initiatives
  • Functions as primary clinical resource and new solution product expert for the client.

Qualifications:

  • Current U.S. Pharmacist License
  • Minimum of 3 years licensure experience preferred
  • 5 years of Client facing experience preferred
  • Ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences; C-suite level executives as well as entry-level staff
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks prioritize resolve complex issues and have strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability in solving unique challenges with custom solutions/methods
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to quickly master multiple internal reporting and analytic tools
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 30%

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
