Job Summary
Summary:
The Material Handler II is responsible for receiving storing and distributing material tools equipment and products within the warehouse. This position ensures that materials are moved efficiently to meet production goals and warehouse deadlines. The role requires a moderate level of experience and autonomy with the ability to perform more complex tasks and potentially train less experienced team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily receiving stocking and inventory duties.
Accurately pull stage and ship material in support of production and customer orders.
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain inventory accuracy by properly counting and entering transactions in the ERP system.
Identify label and place materials and supplies in stock.
Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
Follow and maintain safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
May assist in training Material Handler I personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of material handling or warehouse experience.
Forklift certification preferred.
Proficiency in inventory systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be a team player and possess good communication skills.
Pay: $20-$21.50
