Position Overview:
As a Senior UI FE Engineer you will play a key role in a newly formed group responsible for developing a central business-critical product that directly drives a significant portion of the companys revenue. Youll be expected to lead projects end-to-end design scalable systems and help shape engineering best practices. Your work will directly affect the productivity performance and quality of our engineering at scale.
What Youll Do:
Lead the design and development of new features end-to-end from technical spec through production deployment
Own complex architectural decisions and collaborate on high-level product design
Define spread and enforce development standards across teams
Partner with engineers and stakeholders across teams to ensure shared understanding ownership and alignment
Drive the creation of reusable generic components and services that serve multiple web apps
Maintain a strong focus on performance scalability and code quality in a system thats critical to the entire organization
What You Bring:
5 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript developer
Proven experience leading projects and designing systems in a fast-paced product-driven environment
Deep expertise with React in complex performance-sensitive applications (4 years)
Highly fluent in TypeScript and modern JavaScript best practices
Strong system design skills and a track record of building maintainable scalable architectures
Experience with (a plus)
Experience working with CMS platforms (a plus)
Experience with microservices and cloud infrastructure (GCP is a plus)
A collaborative thoughtful engineer who enjoys helping others and driving cross-team initiatives

The pay range for this position in British Columbia at the start of employment is expected to be between $96400 and $142660 per Year. However base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as job-related knowledge skills experience and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a bonus and/or equity awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
