Factory Sorter Join Our Growing Recycling Team

Shred-X Australia part of the Freightways Ltd group is a fast-paced rapidly expanding leader in secure destruction and recycling solutions. We are seeking motivated and safety-focusedFactory Sorters to join our Wetherill Park branch on a casual basis to contribute to the smooth operation of our recycling facility.
What Youll Do
- Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables
- Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards
- Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads
- Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment
- Assist with loading unloading and moving pallets bins and containers
- Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements
- Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors
What You Bring
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Positive proactive attitude and team-player mindset
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
