Job Summary
A Mid-Level (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Providers main role is managing ENT patients. This provider will work with physicians and managers to provide care for patients with ENT conditions. Under minimal supervision the mid-level provider will work to provide high quality efficient integrated continuous and cost-effective care to patients. This position reports to the Practice Administrator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES of theMid-Level (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
- Partner with Medical Director related to all clinical protocols.
- Conduct a physical cognitive and functional exam.
- Order appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Perform minor procedures.
- Coordinate and execute patient treatment plans.
- Work cooperatively with the ENT clinic staff.
- No hospital call responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSof theMid-Level (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with valid license
- Endoscopy experience
- Be energetic compassionate and self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with PC-based computer skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYof theMid-Level (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONSof theMid-Level (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
Currently licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Indiana.
All employees are required to provide proof of vaccination or exemption.
