Job Description:

Mars is looking for a strategic and driven National Account Manageror as we like to say a Customer Development Leaderto take the lead on one of our major corporate grocery accounts. This is a high-impact role where youll drive profitable sales growth by creating and executing winning business plans with a key grocery customer.

As the primary point of contact youll have full P&L ownership and be instrumental in unlocking value for both Mars and the customer. From optimizing trade investment to maximizing category performance youll bring insight influence and innovation to the table.

Youll build strong collaborative relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders alikeworking cross-functionally to develop data-led strategies and joint business plans that deliver mutual sustainable growth.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of short- and long-term customer strategies that drive sales maximize profitability and align with business category and customer goals.
  • Put the shopper at the heart of your plans by deeply understanding your customers environment and building insight-led strategies that deliver mutual growth.
  • Own the forecast. Deliver accurate and timely demand planning by leveraging multiple data sourcesacross consumption and shipmentwith a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Design and deliver tailored solutions that meet both customer needs and Mars strategic objectivesdriving success across category customer and business priorities.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Build and nurture influential relationships with key stakeholders championing shopper- and channel-centric solutions that deepen engagement and unlock growth.

What are we looking for

  • Proven Sales experience that includes selling negotiating and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plans achieving company and customer objectives and advancing category leadership
  • Previous customer experience and proven ability to deliver successful solutions that cover product placement promotion and/ or pricing; with an excellent track record of meeting/ exceeding sales objectives
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long-term partnerships that drive mutual value.
  • A confident communicator and strategic thinker with the ability to assess customer needs develop collaborative solutions manage objections and navigate challenges with resilience and professionalism
