Job Description
Work Setup: Onsite (QC)
Certification: CPC COC CCS-P and/or CCS
Educational Attainment: Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field (medical allied courses). Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- The Profee Coder ensures compliance with coding guidelines regulations and documentation requirements while maximizing revenue and minimizing coding errors.
- They work closely with healthcare providers billing teams and administrative staff to review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes.
Requirements:
- 3 years of outpatient coding with 1 year experience in Surgery and/or Oncology Profee coding
