Job Title: DevOps SME/Architect
Location: Richmond VA
Job Type: Full-Time
Onsite/Hybrid : 5 Days Onsite
Experience: 15 plus for SMEs/Architects
Job Description :
SME
Over 15 years of experience in design and implement enterprise-grade DevOps architectures with a focus on scalability security and automation.
Develop and manage Terraform modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure across AWS environments.
Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into Java and Python-based applications.
Write and maintain automation scripts using YAML Golang and other relevant languages.
Ensure infrastructure and application deployments are secure repeatable and compliant with best practices.
Lead performance tuning monitoring and incident response strategies across environments.
Stay current with emerging DevOps tools cloud technologies and industry trends.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2 S3 IAM Lambda CloudFormation etc.).
Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
Proficiency in Java Python YAML and Golang scripting.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack).
Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
