The Irwindale CA campus of Chamberlain University is seeking a passionate and experienced academic leader to join our team as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs with our campus-based BSN program. In this pivotal role youll help shape the future of nursing education by driving academic excellence supporting faculty and enhancing student outcomes.
What Youll Do:
- Lead faculty in delivering engaging evidence-based instruction that supports student success.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure alignment with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with campus leadership to foster a culture of integrity innovation and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop faculty through coaching performance evaluations and professional development initiatives.
- Monitor student performance metrics and implement strategies to improve retention and graduation rates.
- Serve as a key liaison between academic affairs and other departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Support strategic initiatives that advance Chamberlains mission and values.

Qualifications :
- Masters degree in nursing required; doctorate preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a nursing program at the college level.
- At least 2 years of academic leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development academic operations and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Commitment to student success and faculty development.
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $90000 and $135000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
