Job Summary
What You Get To Do:
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities and behavioral or medical complexities in our supported living programs!
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a Direct Support Professional you will work with the person served to provide coaching supervision and role-modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation medication administration meal preparation and/or assistance with personal cares.
Qualifications :
What We Look For:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Valid Drivers License and consistent access to a vehicle is required
- Good communication is key in this role. Youll rely on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
