Job Summary

An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to step into a resource role at the elementary level during a maternity leave assignment this fall. This temporary full-time position allows you to make a direct difference in the lives of students while working within a supportive and collaborative school setting.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals.
Track and document student progress to ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
Create a structured and positive classroom environment that supports academic and social growth.
Collaborate with general education teachers service providers and families to ensure continuity of support.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university.
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar setting is preferred.
