Design plan manage and support network infrastructure components across enterprise locations and cloud environments ensuring security availability and scalability of network services.
Responsibilities:
- Designing Planning Managing and Supporting Network Infrastructure in a Global Enterprise.
- Expert level knowledge of Network solutions (including but not limited to: Cisco VOIP Palo Alto BigIP F5 etc.). Familiarity/experience with Azure networking is a plus.
- Enterprise based knowledge on supporting Routing and Switching protocols Firewall and Network Security LAN/WAN/MAN wireless SDWAN VoIP VPN access and Internet routing.
- Network Authentication and On-Boarding access to include RSA Identity Services Engine and Cloud Operations.
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of Network for client offices while working closely with one or more of the following groups:
- Other departments/business units within the Global Organization
- Global IT Staff
- Vendors/Service Providers
- Recommend improvements to enhance the technical capabilities of the network solutions and services and to reduce operating costs.
- Create and Maintain Network Services documentation (Network Diagrams Work Instructions and SOPs etc.)
- Provide technical guidance to Network team members for trouble ticket completion and infrastructure configuration.
- Document network challenges problems and resolution for future reference.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations on improving Network Infrastructure.
- Manage guide and mentor the efforts of the entire Network Services Team supporting and troubleshooting network and many times the services utilizing the network.
- Provide performance capacity inventory and licensing reports on the Network
- Review network designs provided by external vendor partners to ensure operational efficiency and escalate any concerns on proposed designs to team management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years enterprise networking environments experience
- Proven experience in Network Solutions (Cisco VOIP Palo Alto BigIP F5 etc.).
- Certifications: CCNA (required); CCNP desired.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and cross-collaboration
- The ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and demonstrate strong self-starting capabilities
