As an Accounts Receivable Executive at IIDE s Lower Parel office you will be a key member of the Finance team. Your role will focus on managing fee collections ensuring timely reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position demands a balance of precision persistence and strong communication skills to support seamless financial operations within the institute.
Fee Collection & Invoicing
Follow up with students/guardians to ensure timely fee payments.
Generate invoices and receipts in Zoho Books for all payments received.
Reconciliation & Reporting
Reconcile payments from bank statements with student accounts.
Record and update student dropouts or bad debts in the system.
Prepare monthly projected cash flow statements for management.
Process & Collaboration
Handle other receivable-related tasks to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Work closely with the Head of Finance to streamline processes and improve collection efficiency.
Bachelor s degree in Commerce Finance Accounting or related field.
1 3 years of experience in accounts receivable fee collection or billing (freshers with relevant skills may also apply).
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and understanding of basic accounting principles.
Should Have:
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or other accounting software.
Ability to prepare financial projections and reconcile large data sets.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in the education/training sector.
Strong analytical skills to suggest process improvements in collections.
