Job Summary

Our client is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Commodities Trader or Market Analyst to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commodities trading and market analysis under the mentorship of seasoned professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial markets possesses strong analytical skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist senior traders and analysts in executing trades and analyzing market trends in various commodities markets.
Conduct research and gather data to support trading decisions and market strategies.
Monitor market developments news and events to identify opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with team members to develop trading strategies and optimize portfolio performance.
Prepare reports presentations and analysis of market trends and trading activities.
Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and compliance requirements affecting commodities trading.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in finance economics business or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial markets particularly commodities markets.
2 years experience in similar role.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous internship or experience in commodities trading or financial analysis is a plus.
