The Systems Administrator role is to install and maintain stable operation of the Information Technology infrastructure. Working in a technically progressive and team-oriented environment the Systems Administrator must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.

Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center outpatient inpatient partial hospitalization (day programs) assessment and testing residential addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response employee assistance programs forensic psychiatry and psychology and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses psychologists advanced practice providers psychiatrists and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

Position Summary:

The Systems Administrator role is to install and maintain stable operation of the Information Technology technically progressive and team-oriented environment the Systems Administrator must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install configure maintain upgrade and troubleshoot Information Technology (I.T.) infrastructure hardware and software. Including but not limited to servers storage switches endpoint protection routers circuits cloud infrastructure virtual applications virtual desktops firewalls business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Interact with vendors outsourcers and contractors to secure I.T. infrastructure products and services.
  • Conduct research on I.T. infrastructure products services protocols and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Manage I.T. infrastructure asset management inventory documentation and technical specifications.
  • Provide support to senior team members with infrastructure projects.
  • Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity stewardship empowerment professional excellence and the promotion of diversity equity and inclusion.
  • Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.
  • Performs other duties or functions as assigned.

Required/Desired Qualifications:

Education Training and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Information Systems Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Three plus (3) years of Help Desk and/or I.T. Systems Administrator experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Cisco or CompTIA Certification(s) preferred.

Specific skills knowledge and abilities:

  • Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting.
  • The candidate may be required to have a valid Michigan drivers license and ability access to access Pine Rest Transportation Vehicles for the performance of job duties.
