Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.

Are you skilled in clinical coding and passionate about health information management Join our team as a Health Information Manager!

With clinical coding being the primary role of the successful applicant they will have a well-developed knowledge of ICD-10-AM and the Australian Coding uses a fully interfaced 3M Codefinder software alongside other clinical information is also a comprehensive auditing program which the applicant will be an integral part of.

This role also assists when required with the operational management of HIS through staff management coordination and implementation of new and updated procedures for patient information management.

Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
An easy 2 ½ hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities.
