We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Educational Specialist to join our team of over 10000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Job Description:
A Surgical Nurse position is available for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience assisting with minimally invasive surgical procedures. Experience or training in medical education and advanced English proficiency are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Present educational portfolios and serve as the primary point of contact for universities and medical institutions regarding educational matters.
Coordinate scheduling for all internal and external educational activities within the designated training space.
Organize each training session in accordance with established protocols to ensure efficient and satisfactory outcomes.
Guide healthcare professionals through educational programs delivering both technical and clinical instruction throughout the learning process.
Communicate effectively and assertively with internal stakeholders as well as with representatives from universities and hospitals.
Oversee and maintain all equipment ensuring optimal functioning by communicating maintenance requirements as necessary.
Manage surgical instruments and sample inventory to align with internal processes.
Maintain a structured responsible and organized work environment.
The candidate chosen for this role will be expected to:
Complete comprehensive training on all devices and products to ensure proficiency in relevant procedures and product knowledge.
Exhibit mastery of essential clinical and technical information to effectively deliver educational programs to both internal and external audiences.
Demonstrate adept communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including residents hospital administrators and university leadership through presentations discussions and written correspondence.
Show accountability by accurately maintaining attendance evaluation records statistical data and reports.
Possess a thorough understanding and fluency in the use of digital educational systems.
Operate independently in daily responsibilities.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience as a Surgical Nurse in minimally invasive procedures
Background or training in medical education
Advanced English proficiency
Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently assertive and proactive
Skilled in planning and delivering presentations to groups
Excellent organizational and MS Office (Word Excel) skills
Passionate about teaching technical instruction
Highly structured responsible and organized
Competency
The Educational Specialist promotes the Johnson & Johnson culture through positive ongoing customer relationships.
This position also requires the ability to develop strong relationships with customers and within the internal team
Must have the ability to work autonomously as needed.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively with other Johnson & Johnson team members to ensure open communication of ideas and techniques.
Must be highly organized and self-directed.
Employee performance will be compared with other clinical specialists feedback provided accordingly.
Candidates must have a valid drivers license.
As a salaried position the hours are not restricted to normal business hours and ability to work flexible hours during days nights and/or weekends as necessary is required.
Travel is required as part of the position
Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico.

The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
