We are seeking for a highly experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a high-acuity Community Hospital and Trauma OR. Candidates must have strong Trauma Level I experience broad specialty exposure (Ortho Neuro Vascular) and the ability to function independently in complex cases. Minimum 3 years of OR experience is required (5 years preferred). Travel experience is required.
ResponsibilitiesScrub and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to Universal Protocol and time-out procedures
Prepare case carts instrumentation equipment and supplies
Anticipate surgeon needs and support efficient case flow
Assist in Trauma Level I cases including MVAs gunshot/stab wounds and amputations
Support emergency and on-call cases as scheduled
Ensure compliance with radiation laser sharps and fire safety standards
Assist with robotic-assisted cases (Da Vinci Xi) as needed
Participate in endoscopic laparoscopic and open surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and nursing staff in a fast-paced OR environment
Minimum 3 years OR Surgical Tech experience (hard stop)
5 years strongly preferred
Trauma Level I experience REQUIRED
Prior travel experience REQUIRED
Community hospital OR experience preferred
Comfortable with variable start times and occasional night coverage
Willing to take weekend shifts and on-call assignments
No block schedules
No local candidates
Pending licenses not accepted
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Minimum 3 years experience as an OR Surgical Technologist
Experience across Orthopedic Neuro and Vascular cases required
Trauma and high-acuity OR experience required
BLS (Basic Life Support)
CST preferred (NBSTSA certification preferred but not required)
