The University of Miami UHealth Department of Imaging Services has an exciting opportunity for a Chief MRI Technologist in Miami. The incumbent maintains responsibility for the day-to-day operations and administrative duties ensuring efficient workflow of the section; compliance with budgetary policy; ensuring the highest quality diagnostic examinations; and compliance of State/Federal/Joint Commission regulations department/hospital policies and procedures objectives and philosophy. The Chief MRI Technologist is accountable for the efficient patient throughout and 24-hr supervisory responsibility of department and of all departmental staff members scheduling technical guidance and performance improvement. The Chief MRI Technologist performs diagnostic/job functions as required of a MRI Technologist at a level that will require no supervision of technical details.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology /Diagnostic Imaging Program
Certification and Licensing:
Must possess a valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer
ARRT registered with ARRT certification in primary modality
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
