Overview
The Supervisor Training Scheduling is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and tracking of crew training events and instructor development.
Responsibilities
- Support the Training and Development of new Training Schedulers
- Directly work with new schedulers to develop their skills and ensure successful results
- Continue to support and lead all Training Schedulers
- Oversee the scheduling and tracking of instructor development on both the sim and ground side.
- Build ground instructor schedules
- Work with Flight Standards to set up LCP initial classes and recurrent events
- Books travel and hotels in support of training events
- Determine monthly TDY needs develops and implements schedule for TDY instructors
- Creates and distributes training progress and completion reports
- Process Return to Work students
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure efficient scheduling of shared resources and facilities
- Oversee dynamic scheduling runs troubleshooting script issues and verifying compliance with business rules
- Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work in a typical office environment subject to frequent critical deadlines.

Qualifications
- Associates degree or a combination of education and related experience.
- 2 years of Crew Training Scheduling experience preferred.
- Strong TRiM training scheduling software skills including troubleshooting preferred.
- Possess broad understanding of Dynamic Scheduling preferred.
- Extensive experience and understanding of JCBA rules.
- Excellent verbal & written communication interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills in the latest Microsoft Office applications
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Track record demonstrating ability to function independently and as a team member and consistently deliver quality outcomes.
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently as well as to effectively prioritize and operate with minimal supervision.
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically while maintaining a cost-conscious and practical approach to using time and resources
- Ability to independently research issues and make effective recommendations using critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling pushing reaching bending standing walking and light lifting of boxes bags files etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
- Ability to work additional hours including evenings and weekends.
