Job Description

Job Summary - P4 Finance Sensitive Data

>The role will be part of the Finance Division specifically under the Finance Risk and Assurance function which supports the overall Finance Operational Risk agenda.
>The Information Security and Supplier Risk function within FinRiA is responsible for implementing governing and ensuring the effectiveness of the Firms Information Security and Third-Party Risk Management programs and policies within Finance.
>This role is within the Information Security team and provides global support to Finance on Firm requirements for handling storing and sharing sensitive data in compliance with Technology and Compliance policies and procedures.
>This dynamic position offers an exceptional opportunity for the candidate to gain exposure to and learn about various groups and processes across the Finance division.
>The ideal candidate should have experience in banking/financial services with a focus on Information Security. Additionally they should possess superior communication skills (both written and oral) and be able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

>Develop and manage the strategy and team programmes for handling and storing sensitive data within Finance globally.
>Understand and manage operational risks across segments products and processes.
>Ensure compliance with external (regulatory) and internal requirements by correctly following Finance processes to update Information Barrier and Insider Status.
>Perform quality assurance (QA) for Information Barrier Status change requests.
>Support Finance users in identifying and recording where sensitive data is being handled.
>Act as a delegate or represent Finance as required in forums related to sensitive data.
>Understand and facilitate training requirements related to sensitive data for the Finance division.
>Develop Finance procedures and frameworks for handling storing and monitoring sensitive data.
>Drive continuous improvements to team processes.
>Identify and manage automation opportunities.
>Maintain close working relationships with other groups within Finance particularly Risk Leads as well as Legal & Compliance (LCD) and equivalent role holders in other Firm divisions.
>Develop appropriate metrics and coordinate reporting for senior management and other stakeholders.
>Monitor and respond to ad-hoc requests related to sensitive data in Finance.
>Engage with the Finance Artificial Intelligence (AI) program from a Finance Risk perspective.
>Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sensitive data in the preparation of Finance NFRA.
>Manage direct reports and additional project resources as required.
>Assist with various ad-hoc and broader Finance Risk agenda topics.
>Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of professionals in Finance and across the Firm. Skills Required:

>Advanced knowledge of Operational Risk including risk identification measurement and monitoring.
>Prior experience in Information Security is a plus.
>Strong oral and written communication skills for engaging with key stakeholders and senior management.
>Proficient analytical capabilities to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis clearly and concisely.
>Ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
>Business fluency in English.
>Excellent analytical technical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
>Ability to summarize and present results within an agreed timeline.
>Intellectual curiosity with a focus on information sharing.
>Critical thinking to challenge processes solve ad hoc queries and suggest alternative approaches.
>Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across Finance and other divisions.
>Proficiency with data management End User Computing Tools (spreadsheets and databases) and other standard computing applications (PowerPoint and Word).
>Flexibility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
>Time management and organizational skills to achieve tight deadlines on multiple concurrent tasks.
