Job Description

Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Adult congenital heart disease congenital echocardiography. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students residents and fellows as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient adult congenital heart disease clinic inpatient adult congenital heart disease consult service congenital echocardiogram interpretation and reporting.

Research is not a requirement of faculty on the AC track. Candidates may participate in opportunities involving collaborative clinical research and research mentorship for trainees.
