We have partnered with a well-known real estate company in the Woodstock area seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Coordinate with external auditors during financial and compliance audits
Develop and monitor budgets forecasts and financial planning processes
Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
Manage cash flow working capital and treasury functions
Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations and tax filings
Lead system improvements and automation of accounting processes
Mentor train and evaluate performance of accounting team members
Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Serve as the point of contact for accounting-related inquiries and issue resolution
Support ERP system implementation upgrades and integrations related to finance modules

$70000 - $75000 a year
