Medtronic Tempe campus is looking for a self-starter and highly motivated individual who can utilize their training experience and interpersonal skills to ensure new employees acquire the necessary knowledge skills and behaviors to become effective team members in the organization. The Training Coordinator III Operational Excellence will be responsible for developing implementing supporting and monitoring TWI/CSD related training programs. Additionally this role will be responsible for instruction and facilitation of new employee orientation classroom training and skills training for assembly and production areas. Includes administrative tasks for pre hire preparation of training materials and logistics delivering training to and assessing new employees as well as ongoing training initiatives and skills enhancement.
This position is onsite will work Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm with flexibility to start as early as 7:00am on New Hire training weeks.
Support assemblers & operators in production areas in TWI/CSD Training Program; ensuring progress problem-solving around obstacles; & coaching individuals as they develop their skills as trainers.
Support program progress in various lines & departments partnering with TWI/CSD Trainers on the manufacturing floor & supporting them as the program experts.
Create update and provide new operator orientation instructor led training training curriculums and computer-based training modules.
Maintain rosters of training progress examination records and certification records
Maintain completion lists to meet metrics for onboarding.
Create update and provide reporting to management.
Perform regular audits of personnel to verify compliance to manufacturing procedures GMP and quality requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to review and revise manufacturing processes.
Initiate and support continuous improvement activities at a personal department and cross-functional level.
Monitor methods used by employees for production duties (i.e. assembly materials handling) and make on the spot correction.
Facilitate the training use of cardboard city mock area.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
4 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
Minimum of 4 years manufacturing training experience required minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Training Within Industry (TWI) experience.
Strong presentation skills to a variety of audiences including new hires a small specialized team or site leaders.
Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with a diverse work force and various learning styles.
Excellent presentation/facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to:
Give and receive feedback.
Drive understanding (using visual aids able to recognize when a group or an individual is lost and needs more attention.
Adapt to changes quickly.
Manage multiple priorities.
Lead change and influence others.
Read and interpret written documentation.
Initiative to take on assignments and drive to successful closure

Solid understanding of GMP/ISO.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Power Poin.t

Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
