Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for establishing and leading a global team of MRO Facilities and Utilities Category Management professionals and is responsible for $1.1B in spend and major transformation across GEV. This role provides leadership support in building teams of best-in-class talent and fostering an environment of strong collaboration and engagement and will establish relationships by building trust with internal and external stakeholders and developing and executing strategies to meet business outcomes.
Within Utilities your team is responsible for Category Strategy Supplier Contracting Supplier Negotiations Supplier Management and Performance Monitoring activities across all Tier II commodities with a heightened focus on Renewable Energy and support of the overall GEV ESG Sustainability Strategy. Within MRO this team is responsible for Category Management Master Agreement Negotiations Supplier Management and Performance Monitoring across all Tier II commodities except NPI. Within Facilities this team is responsible for Category Management Master Agreement Negotiations Supplier Management and Performance Monitoring across 8 Tier II commodities to include Archiving & Document Storage EHS Services Facilities Management Office Supplies Security Signage & Accessories and Uniforms. Additionally this role is responsible for partnering with the Business Unit teams to ensure a cohesive global strategy development and implementation. Actively lead and coordinate sourcing efforts across GEV with measurable P&L impact on SQDC policy deployment and executing initiatives. The role will partner with GEV functional stakeholders in Business and Segment Sourcing Operations Supply Chain and other functions to improve SQD and drive TCO reductions while delivering excellent service levels to the organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee development / execution of strategies within assigned category spend group
- Own corporate utilities sourcing process end-to-end including hedging strategy trigger points sourcing of renewable energy etc.
- Lead and manage multi-functional stakeholder teams on specific strategic sourcing initiatives or projects
- Drive best practices measure and track internal performance monitor strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization and drive value through supplier relationship management within the assigned category spend/group
- Lead development of best in class category analytics specifically related to MRO Facilities and Utilities. Ensure sustain 95% data categories at tier 3 level
- Support and leverage scale across company in other categories.
- Support / lead other business need such as direct pilot where appropriate
Qualifications/Requirements
- Major experience in Sourcing Operations Supply Chain Commercial or equivalent consulting experience
- Significant experience directly leading teams
- Strong experience in MRO facilities and/or utilities
- Demonstrated ability in leading large scale organizational process and culture change
- For roles not in USA this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- For roles in USA this role requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in job family group/function)

The salary range for this position is $170000 to $350000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates geographic location experience education skill set and work location.
