Job Summary

Job Title: Business Analyst (Medicaid MMIS Agile UAT/Test Management 8 yrs)

Location: Austin TX (Remote -TEXAS RESIDENT ONLY )

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

Proven experience performing complex business analysis and producing detailed technical documentation
Strong ability to report project status to management including risks issues and key decisions
Demonstrated experience identifying project risks and issues and developing effective mitigation strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including documenting requirements deliverables test scenarios and project status
Experience working directly with business end users to gather validate and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience reviewing and approving complex technical user and system requirements developed by vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Teams Word Excel Visio and PowerPoint
Experience coordinating and developing test plans test strategies exit criteria and test scenarios
Hands-on experience executing detailed test cases in complex software environments
Experience using test management tools and software
Strong working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
Demonstrated experience serving in a Business Analyst role on complex projects
Experience approving and prioritizing user stories based on stakeholder feedback and subject matter expertise
Experience working with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and related processes

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Texas Medicaid programs including PASRR
Experience working with the Long-Term Care Online Portal application

Responsibilities

Elicit analyze validate and document business and system requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders business users vendors and technical teams to ensure requirements alignment
Translate business needs into clear actionable technical solutions
Review validate and approve vendor-developed technical and system documentation
Identify project risks and issues and support the development of mitigation and resolution strategies
Prepare and deliver project status reports to leadership and stakeholders
Develop and coordinate testing activities including test plans scenarios and exit criteria
Execute and oversee testing efforts to ensure system quality and compliance with requirements
Support Agile teams by grooming backlogs prioritizing user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies
Ensure clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
