Job Summary: The Lead Server and Lead Bartender are responsible for assisting with overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants front-of-house and bar areas. You will provide exceptional service to our members and guests lead and assist with training the serving and bartending staff and ensure that all service standards and procedures are met. This role requires strong leadership skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist F&B Management with leading the serving and bartending staff providing guidance and support as needed
- Assist with training new servers and bartenders on service standards menu knowledge and customer service skills
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt friendly and efficient service
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus and make recommendations to guests
- Oversee the set-up and organization of the dining area and bar ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for the bar including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
- Handle guest inquiries concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service flow
- Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Support management when conducting regular staff meetings to communicate updates provide training and address any issues or concerns
- Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures and training materials
- Other job duties as assigned.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Clubs operation it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore as an essential part of your job you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly you may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.
Reports to: SR. Restaurant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage
Supervises: NONE

Qualifications
Education/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including service techniques menu items and alcoholic beverages. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management and reporting.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective communication between all staff members. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests or members of the community. Must display professional demeanor and communicate in professional language at all times.
Certificates/Licenses/Safety Training: State accredited Alcohol Training Certification and California Food Handlers Card (SERV Safe Certification) is required within 30 days of employment.
