Safety Manager M1 Corridor (Midlands) 55000 Car and travel

Were working with a leading electrical utilities contractor seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to oversee projects across the M1 corridor in the Midlands. This is a key role ensuring compliance driving safety culture and supporting operational teams in delivering high-quality safe and sustainable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage health safety environmental and quality standards across multiple sites.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams and project managers.

  • Conduct audits inspections and risk assessments to maintain compliance.

  • Develop and implement HSEQ initiatives policies and continuous improvement programmes.

  • Report on performance investigate incidents and promote a proactive safety culture.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven background in HSEQ management within utilities electrical or construction sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO standards.

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.

  • Excellent communication leadership and influencing skills.

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
