Our team of Support Developers and Analysts located in the UK and Sri Lanka is the backbone of our data operations and we need a strategic manager who can help them thrive.
This is a key leadership position with a strong focus on both people and processes. Youll be responsible for ensuring our data support is not only effective but also a key driver of business value.
What Youll Be Doing
- Line managing and coaching a distributed team of Support Developers and Analysts fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Monitoring and resolving overnight ETL batch failures ensuring business analysts have accurate and robust data available each morning.
- Ensuring quality and governance processes are followed across the team maintaining the integrity and reliability of our data.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve our data monitoring and alerting systems helping us anticipate and prevent issues before they impact the business.
- Acting as the key point of contact for our stakeholders ensuring their data-related issues are prioritized and resolved effectively.
- Developing and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs) around incident resolution to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
- Co-ordinating and implementing key events in the data domain ensuring seamless execution and effective collaboration across teams.
- Responding to business demands for greater analytical and reporting capabilities enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Managing and controlling the teams budget ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet business needs.
- Championing professional development and career growth for your direct reports.
About you:
Technical Skills & Experience
Were looking for someone who is comfortable in a modern data environment ideally with some exposure to systems support. Our team works with the following technologies so experience with some or all of them is highly desirable:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Databricks
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Batch
