Job Summary
MTU Maintenance Fort Worthis part of the worlds largest independent jet engine MRO company based in Germany providing aftermarket and OEM-licensed engine maintenance services worldwide. As a part of MTU Aero Engines with over 80 years of experience in the design development and production of jet engine components modules and engines; MTU Maintenance is a global network of over 4000 employees with over 35 years of experience in the MRO market.
MTU provides maintenance from targeted hospital visits to complete overhauls on over 30 commercial aero engine and industrial gas turbine lines and has completed more than 18000 shop visits for over 1400 customers worldwide. Within this Global network MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services.
Infrastructure Specialist
We are looking for a motivated Infrastructure Specialist to support and maintain our network and infrastructure landscape. This role involves hands-on work with modern technologies in a cloud-centric environment and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for our Arista network infrastructure
- Support Kinexon Track & Trace systems provided by external vendors
- Manage and maintain passive infrastructure (fiber and copper cabling)
- Monitor and coordinate asset management system updates with field service teams
- Administer local DNS and DHCP services
- Work with cloud-based identity and access technologies such as PingFederate and ZTNA
- Provide support for firewalls from Cisco and Fortinet
Network & Infrastructure Support:
- Maintain and update network infrastructure documentation
- Coordinate with external vendors during installations upgrades and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal cloud specialists to resolve user tickets related to network connectivity and cloud services
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in enterprise network and infrastructure support
- Familiarity with Arista Cisco and Fortinet technologies
- Strong understanding of DNS DHCP and passive infrastructure
- Experience with cloud security tools (e.g. PingFed ZTNA)
- Experience with Genetec systems for access control and CCTV is a plus
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
