Your tasks:
- Take full ownership of the lease accounting process for the INNIO Group.
- Serve as the primary contact for annual Group audits related to lease accounting.
- Actively participate in the finalization of lease contracts to ensure compliance with the Groups standards.
- Review and assess lease contracts.
- Identify issues and proactively drive improvements to ensure the completeness and accuracy of lease accounting.
- Maintain the lease accounting subledger including recording contract changes and generating accounting entries.
- Manage month-end closing activities such as preparing and posting journal entries and running relevant reports.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
- Ensure technical accounting compliance strengthen financial and operational internal controls and simplify processes to support accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Your profile:
- Bachelors or masters degree in economics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
- In-depth knowledge of lease accounting is essential.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Flexible with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
- Comfortable meeting both quantitative and qualitative performance targets.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Audit experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in accounting within a multi-GAAP environment (SSC/CoE preferred).
- Hands-on experience with period-end closing in Oracle SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to remain calm and flexible under tight deadlines especially during closing periods.
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
