What Youll Be Doing
Youll be joining CIBCs Capital Markets OTC Derivatives Operations team. Reporting to the Director OTC Derivatives Documentation Group you will play an important role in the daily activities ofOTC ConfirmationsandMark-to-Market Client Statementsacross a broad spectrum of derivative products including Equities Interest Rates Commodities and FX Options. This position is ideal for ananalytical professional with advanced VBA skills exceptional communication abilities a background in quantitative finance paired with a strong drive and genuine interest in learning about derivatives. What sets this opportunity apart is the rare combination we seek: a passion for expanding your derivatives knowledge and the ability to leverage advanced technical skills to create innovative solutions. Here youll have the chance to enhance operational processes and deliver superior client outcomes by harnessing technology and exploring new methods including the use of AI. Alongside developing robust technical expertise you will gaindeep hands-on exposure to derivatives preparing you for the generation of trade Confirmations and the negotiation of Master Confirmation Agreements.
