Package and Benefits for the CNC Turner: (must be authorised to work in the UK)

• 21-24 per hour
• The position is full-time and permanent and an immediate start is available.
• Hours are Monday Wednesday 4.30pm 3.30am Thursday 4.30pm 1.30am.

Syntech Recruitment are partnered with this precision engineering business and are on the lookout for a skilled CNC Turner (must be able to program from engineering drawings) for their late shift.

CNC Turner Requirements:

• Proven experience in programming setting and operating 2-axis turning machines.
• Ability to write new CNC programs long-hand at the machine with minimal supervision.
• Experience in editing prewritten programs full machine setup including material tooling speeds and feeds.
• Proficient in in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
• Capable of producing one-off low to medium volume precision parts in a range of hard and soft metals.
• Excellent working knowledge of 2-axis CNC machines cutting speeds and feeds geometric tolerances.
• Solid understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and standards.
• Experience with Fanuc controls is advantageous.
• Strong work history within the manufacturing industry in a machine shop environment.
• Hands-on quality-driven positive and self-motivated manner.
• Confident in working on parts up to Ø300mm x 3m in length with provided lifting equipment. Hoist training will be provided.
