Job Title: Middle Division Substitute Teacher (Grades 68)
Job Summary
The Middle Division Substitute Teacher will provide classroom instruction supervision and support for students in grades 68 on an as-needed basis. This role includes implementing lesson plans maintaining effective classroom management and ensuring continuity of student learning in a positive and structured environment.
Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe respectful learning environment.
Provide effective instruction and keep students engaged in learning activities.
Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.
Maintain clear communication and foster a positive inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different subject areas and students.
