Position Summary
The Coordinator of Talent Impact Training is responsible for the coordination of Talent Impact programs with daily direction of program-related staff. They will research and develop programming and ensure open enrollment and contract training programs are marketed appropriately and run smoothly. Operationally they will support training grants handle the details and logistics of each seminar and training program and serve as a resource for colleagues students prospective students vendors and the greater community.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Research and provide input on new training programs and consulting services to serve customers
- Provide daily direction for Talent Impact staff and maintain the smooth operation of Talent Impact Training programs
- Market negotiate and administer customized training contracts for incumbent worker training and other MCC services with area business and industry
- Prepare and present informational briefings and public presentations regarding training and consulting activities within the community state-wide and nationally
- Maintain contact with customers and advisory groups to ensure that training needs are being met and verify that marketing strategies are effective
- Provide support planning and coordination for training grants
- Plan and coordinate details of each seminar and training program including:
- Hiring instructors
- Arranging room set-up
- Preparation of class material
- Training evaluation
- Notify all necessary personnel of a cancellation
- Coordinate marketing of Talent Impact programs including substantial responsibility for development of the Impact(quarterly class schedule)inventory and order materials brochures flyers e-blasts and direct mail
- Attend as Talent Impact representative: Chamber meetings organization meetings committee meetings conferences seminars and functions as needed to maintain positive relationships and to keep current with local business and industry needs
- Communicate and collaborate with other MCC programs to meet customer needs
- Prepare and submit financial reports as needed
- Maintain electronic Talent Impact records
- Work collaboratively with others (e.g. colleagues stakeholders vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities
- Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from a regionally accredited institution in related field or Associates Degree with three years related experience
Experience with workforce training programs
Experience dealing with the public
Public speaking and presentation development
