Description Compiles payroll data entry of data and reconciliation of errors prepares payroll reporting data for the payroll analyst to maintain payroll records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Researches required employee information using available resources.
- Handles and resolve employee payroll grievances.
- Ability to identify and escalate priority issues.
- Provides internal customer service by obtaining employee information and guiding towards a resolution.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to recognize when follow-up is required with internal customer.
- Contact business or private individuals by phone.
- Must have strong listening skills.
- May be asked to perform various other clerical tasks.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Qualifications:
Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time in connection with their duties and may be subject to the same environment.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two years of phone or customer service related experience preferred.
ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computer software; MS Excel Access and Project Infinium.
- Attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attitude
