- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the life sciences segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research networking and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in research labs hospitals and academic institutions.
- Conduct product presentations demonstrations and training sessions for clients.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts reports and market intelligence.
- Attend industry conferences exhibitions and seminars to promote company products and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- HND or Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Biomedical Engineering Biochemistry Microbiology or related field. (A Masters degree or MBA is an added advantage.)
- A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit is required.
- Minimum of 35 years of sales experience in medical or laboratory equipment preferably within the life sciences sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong technical understanding of life sciences products and applications.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
